Valere Power and China Wuhan Putian Group Form Partnership
Valere Power Inc. (Richardson, TX), a maker of power systems for the wireless and broadband sections of the telecommunications industry, announced a strategic partnership with Wuhan Putian Group Corp. (China), a supplier of dc power systems to China’s major telecom operators. The partnership allows Wuhan Putian to integrate Valere’s rectifiers into its next-generation power systems for Chinese service providers. System development began earlier this year and was completed in August. Wuhan Putian has obtained comprehensive qualifications and certifications for the system, which is currently available. Beginning in early 2006, all Wuhan Putian systems will exclusively feature Valere Power rectifiers.
Wuhan Putian Group President and CEO Yang Aimin commented, "After meeting and evaluating a number of potential companies, we believe that, with Valere’s leading rectifier technology; its development, support, and manufacturing infrastructure in China; and its local sales and marketing support organization, the partnership between Putian and Valere will quickly allow Putian to further extend our competitive advantages in the China dc power market to further grow our revenue and market share. It will also present Wuhan Putian some unique opportunities of entering other markets."
Valere Power President and CEO Andy Marsh stated, "Putian’s long history and relationships with all Chinese service providers, its extensive sales and marketing coverage, and its local support experience and expertise allow Valere Power to better leverage our leading technology and obtain immediate and full market access to China Telecom service provider dc system markets."
