Stadium completes Acquisition of Stontronics Power Supplies

Yesterday, Stadium Group plc completed its previously-announced £6.5 million acquisition of Stontronics Ltd, a global provider of power supplies, ac-dc adapters, LED drivers, dc-dc convertors, transformers and other specialist power products, based in Reading, UK. The deal follows a sequence of technology acquisitions by the company as it pursues a growth strategy in the electronics arena.

Stontronics will join Stadium’s Technology Products division and work closely alongside their existing Power Products business, Stadium Power. Stadium Power has over 30 years’ experience designing and manufacturing custom power solutions for niche vertical markets, fully supported by a dedicated R&D Center in Norwich leading Stadium’s technology developments in power management, wireless connectivity, green products and miniaturization.
