Signal Technology Corp. (Danvers, MA) announced the receipt of a contract from the US Air Force (USAF), Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, to upgrade and modernize Band 3 and 4/5 high-voltage, power conversion systems for the AN/ALQ-131 aircraft electronic countermeasures (ECM) jamming pod. The contract is valued at $3.5 million.
"Earlier this year we established a major presence on the AN/ALQ-131 as supplier of Band 4 and 5 transmitters, and this power conversion system modernization award further expands our participation in ECM applications," said Signal Technology Chairman and Chief Executive Officer George Lombard."
