Schaffner Receives Order for TUBITAK Facility

Schaffner Ltd. (Edison, NJ), a supplier of EMC components and test equipment, completed the supply and installation of a bespoke EMC test facility in Turkey. Part of the new TUBITAK National Metrology Laboratory, and financed by the World Bank, this multi-million dollar contract was won by Schaffner against worldwide competition. The final commissioning was witnessed and approved by the UK National Physical Laboratory.

The TUBITAK facility is one of the largest and most complete facilities in the world, and benefits from state-of-the-art test equipment from Schaffner. One key element of the system is the leading-edge Compliance3 software, which features modular building of test routines, very flexible configuration options, simple organization, and comprehensive reporting and multi-user capabilities.

Schaffner Marketing Manager Andrew Kotas stated, "This project took three years to negotiate and was won by Schaffner by offering the best price and performance package. The contract confirms Schaffner as the world leader in EMC testing; we are one of the few companies in the world able to undertake a complete project of such a size and complexity."
