August 26, 2003 by Jeff Shepard

Rockwell Automation Inc. (Milwaukee, WI), a global provider of industrial automation power, control and information solutions, announced that Michael Bless, senior vice president and chief financial officer, has decided to leave Rockwell Automation. He will remain with the company until after a new chief financial officer is appointed and after a period during which he and the new CFO work together to effect an orderly transition.

"We are very fortunate to have benefited from Mike's talents," said Don Davis, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer. "As part of our senior management team, he has done a superb job of helping to position Rockwell Automation for profitable growth and strengthening the finance function during a time of economic challenge. We thank him for his contribution and wish him well in the next stage of his career."
