Proton Energy Systems Inc. (Rocky Hill, CT) announced the appointment of Larry Sweet to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. Sweet has overall responsibility for research, product development, manufacturing, commercial sales and new business development, as well as for ensuring quality and productivity at Proton's new facility currently under construction in Wallingford, CT.
