Primarion Corp. has entered the Japanese market through a distribution agreement with Tokyo-based Servants International Corp. According to the terms of the agreement, the two companies will collaboratively sell Primarion's digital power product line to major manufacturers in Japan.

"Primarion is experiencing growing demand for our digital power product line across Asia, prompting us to expand sales and technical support into the Japanese market," said Chris Henningsen, vice president of sales for Primarion. "We are very pleased to have Servants International join our team to drive digital power adoption among Japan's computing and networking customer base. Servants will play a key role in ensuring that our Japanese customers receive the service and support they deserve in selecting the Primarion digital power solutions that best meet their needs."

Primarion digital power solutions have been adopted by major server, computing, networking and graphics manufacturers worldwide. Offering digital power solutions for core microprocessors and graphics processors, coupled with a newly released family of digital solutions for datacom/networking/storage point-of-load (POL) applications, the company considers itself well positioned to support customers in the market transition from analog to digital power management and control.

"We are proud to partner with Primarion in serving the Japanese market," said Masakazu Furuta, president and COO of Servants International. "Primarion has leading-edge digital power technology that we believe will allow Japanese manufacturers to be even more competitive in the worldwide market. We look forward to leveraging our expertise to expand the adoption of digital power in Japan."
