Nuvera Fuel Cells Inc. (Cambridge, MA) announced it has reached a multi-year agreement with Renault Group (France) to pursue research and product development into multi-fuel processing technologies for fuel cell vehicles. The joint program seeks to deliver a fuel processor by 2004 that can be adapted to on-board vehicle requirements for Renault.
"This is a major milestone for Nuvera and the future of fuel cell vehicles," said Nuvera Fuel Cells President and CEO Roberto Cordaro. "Our development efforts in fuel processing over the past few years are proving critical to the near-term commercial viability of fuel cells."
