Nuvera and Air Liquide to End Axane Joint Venture

July 22, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Nuvera Fuel Cells Inc. (Cambridge, MA) and Air Liquide (Paris, France) announced an agreement to end their joint venture in the company Axane (France), which was formed in February 2001 to develop and market power production systems based on fuel cell technology for various applications.

Although both companies cited a successful joint-development phase, each company will separately pursue fuel cell hydrogen technology development. Air Liquide will continue development activities within Axane as a 100-percent-owned company of Air Liquide.
