Lithium Technology Corp. (LTC, Plymouth Meeting, PA), an early production stage rechargeable lithium battery manufacturer, announced that its President and Chief Operating Officer Franz Kruger has been elected by its board of directors as LTC's new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding David Cade. Cade will remain as Chairman of the Board in a full-time capacity.
Cade stated, "The company and our shareholders are very fortunate to have a CEO with Franz Kruger's international battery industry credentials and stature. His global reputation in the advanced battery arena encompasses technology, production, distribution, sales and marketing. The board will do all we can to provide Franz with the resources he needs to assure LTC's success."
