International Power Sources Inc. (IPS, Holliston, MA) announced that it will officially change its name to XPiQ Inc. on November 1, 2001. The new company will continue to support the former IPS product line of ac/dc and dc/dc converters, but will also increase their focus on new product development. The name change was approved by XPiQ’s parent company IFX Power plc. XPiQ states it will carry on the traditions of the former company and build upon the 16 years of experience gained by IPS.
