Gresham Power Electronics the Salisbury based Defense and Commercial power conversion specialist, is embarking on major development plans to expand their global power supply sourcing platform stemming from based on their joining the Power Solutions Group of Coolisys Technologies formed after recent international acquisitions by its US holding Company.
In 2018 Gresham will be able to take advantage of the expertise and synergies of a new ensemble of companies including Microphase Corporation and Power-Plus, who specialize in providing value-added power system solutions, in addition to having continued access to the products and engineering base of its California based partner company Digital Power Corporation.
Inward investment in Salisbury based Gresham Power will include recruitment of additional sales and engineering resources, expanded product offering and increased distribution channels. An immediate expansion of a mature product portfolio will include a recently released range of Ultra High Density (UHD) ac-dc power supplies designed to meet international safety requirements serving medical, industrial and commercial applications.
Expansion of in house capabilities includes custom design and modification, value-added technical support will stem from synergies within the globally staffed Power Solutions Group for Coolisys Technologies

Gresham Power already offers industrial, medical, CompactPCI, rail, transportation, test and laboratory power solutions from world class manufacturers. The present market leading and cost competitive open frame power supplies, modular configurable and encapsulated power supplies, programmable power supplies, electronic loads and dc-dc converters will now be rapidly expanded upon by leveraging the access to products of Gresham’s new Power Solutions Group partners.
Gresham’s experience of designing and manufacturing defense power systems is available to customers to provide modified standard or full custom power supply designs when required. Gresham can also supply a new range of defense power products for land based and vehicle applications to complement its world-class naval power systems that are utilized by over 20 different countries throughout the world.
The full Gresham Power Electronics product range includes; OEM and external power supplies for advanced multi-media applications, medical, industrial, defense, communications, broadcast systems and LED lighting; and hot-swap power shelves and products for telecoms as well as static frequency converters, DC UPS, distributed power systems and dc-ac inverters for Naval Defense markets.
