Eltek Valere announced that Colin Howe has accepted the position of Executive Vice President of Global Telecom Sales and Allen Pitts has take on the role of President of the Americas.
Colin Howe has been with Eltek/Eltek Valere for more than 19 years, holding various positions throughout the company in both Europe and the Americas. Prior to the transition, Howe was President of the Americas for Eltek Valere. Howe will report to Knut Aven, who is Eltek Valere’s President and CEO.
"With his extensive history in the industry and here at Eltek Valere, I am confident that Colin will be able to thrive in his new position," said Aven. "His experience and success in the US market adds to his already impressive resume of experience around the globe to give him a unique advantage in this role."
Allen Pitts will replace Howe in the role of President of the Americas. For 16 years, Pitts has held various positions with Eltek Valere, most recently as Vice President of Sales for the Americas.
"Allen is a great candidate for this position," said Aven. "He has been intimately involved within the US sales operations and well known and well liked by the organization. I have no doubt that he will be a success in this role."
The management transitions will complete the company’s senior management team, allowing Eltek Valere to continue its rapid worldwide growth. The transition process is expected to be completed within the fourth quarter of 2008.
