Calpine Corp. (San Jose, CA) announced the promotion of Ann Curtis to vice chairman. Curtis is one of the founders of Calpine and has served the power industry for more than 20 years. In her new role, she will work closely with Chairman, CEO and President Pete Cartwright and Calpine's board of directors to ensure the company's strategic objectives are met, and guide the financial, organizational and administrative functions to ensure they are working toward the strategic objectives of the corporation.
