APC-MGE Establishes APC-MGE Financial Services

April 01, 2007 by Jeff Shepard

APC-MGE announced the formation of APC-MGE Financial Services to provide worldwide financing and leasing capabilities to its customers. This new program is intended to give APC-MGE customers additional flexibility and options to facilitate the purchase of its comprehensive solutions and services offering worldwide, including its energy-efficient power, cooling and IT management solutions for data centers.

"APC-MGE Financial Services responds to customer requests for additional assistance when making investments in our solutions and services," explained Dave Johnson, APC-MGE Chief Sales Officer. "We are excited to provide our partners globally with flexible, industry leading financing options, including leasing programs. As our solution set and offering complexity expands, the need for financing assistance grows as well, particularly in vertical markets where needs are high but resources can be limited."

APC-MGE selected IBM Global Financing (IGF), the lending and leasing division of IBM, to provide worldwide leasing capabilities to customers through APC-MGE Financial Services. Previously, IBM selected APC-MGE as a technology provider for the IBM Scalable Modular Data Center service product, a new solution that helps customers design an energy-efficient data center that can grow with the needs of the business. This financing offering will help large and small companies alike quickly access the working capital needed to deploy a pre-engineered 500 or 1,000 square foot data center in nearly any working environment, utilizing IBM Site and Facilities Services’ capabilities and APC-MGE’s InfraStruXure® data center architecture.
