American Power Conversion (APC, West Kingston, RI) announced that it has achieved Sun Microsystems' (Palo Alto, CA) first Solaris Ready certification of an uninterruptible power supply solution. APC's combination of its Smart-UPS 2200 and PowerChute plus software for the Solaris platform has been certified for Sun Enterprise 450 four-way servers.
