Alcatel and Innoveta Form Strategic Alliance

September 04, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Alcatel Converters (Paris, France) and Innoveta Technologies Inc. (Plano, TX) announced the signing of a co-label agreement for strategic marketing and business development, which allows both companies to maximize market opportunities with the utilization of resources around the globe. Under the agreement, Innoveta's technology and products will benefit from Alcatel Converters' position in the European market and in the US.

"By co-labeling the Innoveta products, we enhance Alcatel Converters' existing product portfolio and give our global market the access to some terrific products, delivering significant time-to-market advantages and perfectly complementing our product range," stated Alcatel Converters CEO and Managing Director Georges Masseau.

Alcatel Converters offers a range of standard high-performance dc/dc converters, up to 50W, and Innoveta complements this single- and dual-output offering with a full line of converters, including full, one-half, one-quarter and micro-bricks, from 30W to 600W. Alcatel's European customers benefit as these complementary lines establish a one-stop shop for dc/dc conversion while heightening Innoveta's presence in Europe.

"At Innoveta, we strive to partner with the most innovative and successful global companies, and Alcatel Converters has earned an excellent reputation in the industry as a power conversion expert. With Innoveta's leading-edge technology, this alliance brings a seamless, integrated approach to our mutual clients in Europe and in Alcatel," commented Innoveta CEO Victor Lee.
