TMK Power Ind. Ltd. (China) unveiled its Model 4/3A350 rechargeable NiMH battery, which features a nominal capacity of 3.5Ah and a nominal voltage of 1.2V. The cylindrical battery measures 66.5mm x 16.5mm and weighs 52g. Applications include VCD players, cameras and hand-held computers.
The device offers a standard charge time of 7h at 700mA current, and a quick charge time of 2.5h at 1.75A current. The maximum discharge current is rated at 7A. The internal impedance is 18 milliohms.
The rechargeable battery is specified with an operating temperature range from -20 to +60 degrees C. It lasts a minimum of 500 charge and discharge cycles.
