Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corp. (TMEIC Corp.) is now offering SOLAR WARE®, a portfolio of PV utility scale solar inverters for industrial markets featuring efficiency ratings among the highest in the class. Built on decades of engineering experience with power electronics, SOLAR WARE inverters offer the industry’s most advanced grid management in an efficient, compact footprint.

The inverter line offers multiple utility scale configurations, including SOLAR WARE 630, SOLAR WARE 500 and SOLAR WARE 250. The SOLAR WARE footprint is up to half the size of its competition, with easy maintenance access engineered into its compact design. SOLAR WARE’s unique features include:

-- Small footprint

-- Power factor control to maximize grid efficiency

-- Fault Ride Through capabilities (low voltage and frequency)

-- Reactive/Active Power Control

-- Highly efficient ac-dc conversion at low-load conditions for maximum ROI

-- Proprietary anti-islanding technology uses slip-mode frequency shift methodology

"TMEIC’s long history in power electronics has helped to develop the optimal grid connection technology in this newest line of utility scale inverters," says Donn Samsa, Director of Marketing, TMEIC. "The SOLAR WARE line is the result of decades of research and development to create the most advanced inverters in the industry."

TMEIC also offers a packaged SOLAR WARE station ranging from 1.0 to 2.5MW power blocks. This weather-resistant PV station is a cost effective, robust solution for utility-scale PV plants. The SOLAR WARE station includes PV Inverters, dc re-combiner boxes, and pad-mounted transformer for quick and cost-effective installation. This station is engineered to provide stable and reliable operation, even in the harshest environments.
