Rectifier Technologies Intros RT9 DC Power Systems

Rectifier Technologies Pacific (RTP, Australia) introduced its new RT9 switched-mode rectifier, which provides 1.4 kW of output power (25 A nominal) for -48 V telecom systems. The flexible operation of the RT9 is supported by the MiniCSU-2, an intelligent controller, as well as WinCSU-2 software, and an WebCSU-embedded network server, which allows a power system to be built with network connectivity and remote asset-management features.

Designed for indoor and outdoor systems, the RT9 suits ac supply voltages between 208 Vac to 240 Vac. The RT9 will continue to operate in adverse ac situations, such as brownouts, to 85 Vac and be undamaged by exposure to voltages as high as 440 Vac. The small dimensions of the RT9 (8.5 in x 1U) allow high power density in 300 mm, 400 mm, or 600 mm deep, 19 in cabinets or 23 in open racks. The RT9 features high efficiency and a wide operating temperature range between -40 °C to +70 °C.
