Pulizzi Engineering Inc. (Santa Ana, CA) has released a new generation of Intelligent Power Controllers. The cross-platform compatible IPC34XX-NET Series provides Ethernet, dial-up or direct serial communication ports for remote power control of computer systems. It provides control for up to 80 outlets at one IP address or phone line, and local on/off control of each outlet as well.

It is also available without network-ready internal hardware. Additionally, the earlier IPC34XX NON-NET version works with the IPC34XX-NET version.

The IPC3401 systems are rated for an input/output voltage between 85Vac and 265Vac, at 20A (16A derated) for international requirements. They utilize IEC60320 C13 outlets. The IPC3402 systems are rated for an input/output voltage of 120Vac at 20A (16A derated) for use in North America. These utilize NEMA 5-15R outlets. A stand-alone system provides for individual control of eight NEMA- or IEC-style receptacles.

The IPC34XX-NET Series is designed to meet UL/cUL 1950 Third Edition (EN60950) safety requirements. It incorporates a true UL-listed main disconnect circuit breaker. Also included is EMI/RFI filtering and TVSS.
