Power Add Debuts PPS100/150LBP Power Supplies

Power Add Inc. (Taiwan) announced its new series of low-cost, boxed-type, active power-factor correction, switching power supply devices, the PPS100LBP and PPS150LBP, which are equipped with over-voltage protection circuitry and a built-in EMI filter. Optional features include remote inhibit and remote-sensing on main outputs and dc inputs.

The active power-factor correction function is rated at up to 98 percent (typical). The devices accept 90Vac to 264Vac universal input, and deliver a maximum power of 100W for the PPS100LBP and 150W for the PPS150LBP.

The switching power supplies are specified for operation from 0 to 70 degrees C, and can be customized to operate at temperatures ranging from -40 to +85 degrees C. The power supplies derate at 51 to 70 degrees C.
