Mean Well Announces 100W Economical LED Power Supply
In response to the exhaustion of natural resources and rise of energy cost, LED related application imbued with energy-saving concept is thriving nowadays. After the launch of constant voltage (C.V.) mode models LPL-18 & LPH-18 (18W), LPV-20 (20W), LPV-35 (35W), LPV-60 (60W), MEAN WELL extended another 100W ac-dc enclosed type C.V. mode switching power supplies targeting at economical lighting purposes to accommodate the boom of LED architectural lighting, decorative lighting, and indoor/outdoor waterproof applications. With non-PFC design for lower cost, LPV-100 series are fully potted by glue (IP67 structure) and enclosed by plastic case with 94V-0 fire prevention level, which can protect the electronic components against dust and moisture that makes the usage at harsh locations possible.
Filling with heat-conducted glue that also provides internal shock absorption to withstand vibration, LPV-100 series possess up to 88% of high efficiency and can work between -25 - +70°C by only free air convection. Built-in standard functions include 300Vac input surge endurance for 5 seconds, two wires input (no FG), CE compliance, and protection for short circuit, over load, and over voltage. These new models equip with wire-style input/output ( 18AWG2C and 14AWG2C ) for flexible installations and are perfectly suitable for LED electronic displays, LED-based decorative/architectural lighting, LED wash-wall lighting, , LED stage and theater lighting…etc.
