Invensys Energy Systems Debuts the DataTrax T-Module Monitoring Device
Invensys Energy Systems (Atlanta, GA) announced that it will debut the DataTrax T-Module, its next-generation monitoring device for critical-communications networks. The DataTrax T-Module was designed to provide small-site remote monitoring for the company’s Foreseer Management Software. The new device gives users the ability to manage power, environmental, safety and security systems in wireless base stations, repeater and POP sites, remote data center nodes, and other telecommunications sites from a central operations center (OC). From the OC, the status of all sites can be viewed from a graphical interface for both real-time alarms and historical performance, dating up to 72 hours. Up to 3,000 sites can be monitored from a single system.
“The T-Module is a powerful tool that allows network operators to proactively manage their remote and often unmanned sites, allowing for more efficient management of their networks while providing a higher level of reliability demanded by wireless applications,” said Doug Milner, president of Invensys Energy Systems.
