ICCNexergy Launches 20W External Power Supply Line

ICCNexergy, Inc. announced the launch of its new 20W desktop power supply line for both medical (MWA020) and ITE/Commercial (FWA020) applications. The new 20W power supply meets EISA, EuP level V efficiency standards and is available in both class I and class II designs.

"ICCN continues to expand and refresh its product line with higher efficiency & high power density products," said Kal Vashi, Product Manager of ICCNexergy. "The FWA020 & MWA020 are being released in both class I and class II options, which will enable our ITE & Medical customers to choose an option specific to their application in ultra portable solutions."

The new 20W product line has fully regulated dc output in 5, 9, 12, and 24V models. All models feature an LED.

In addition to meeting level V efficiency standards, the new 20W product line is compliant with the EuP Directive. The FWA020 meets 60950-1 approval and the MWA020 is approved to 60601-1 enabling usage for a wide range of applications in a rapidly changing marketplace.

"The 3rd Edition safety standard for Home Healthcare Products (60601-1-11) requires that power supplies be class II, which includes the double insulation mark and a two prong (ungrounded) ac input," said Carol Pickford, Applications Engineer at ICCNexergy.

"ICCNexergy has released both class I and II power supplies as part of its new 20W series in order to meet the safety standards for a full range of applications."
