Gresham Power Unveils GPL Linear Power Supplies

April 26, 2004 by Jeff Shepard

Gresham Power (Salisbury, UK) introduced its new GPL range of linear power supplies. Encapsulated for additional safety, the new power supplies offer low radiated and conducted output noise, required by instrumentation, signal conditioning and measuring systems.

Single-, dual- and triple-output versions are available with output voltages in combinations of 5 Vdc, 12 Vdc, 15 Vdc and 24 Vdc. Two high-voltage output versions, set at 180 Vac and 250 Vac, are also included in the range. Maximum power output is 10 W and input voltage ranges are either 105 Vac to 125 Vac or 220 Vac to 240 Vac at an input frequency of 50 Hz to 80 Hz. An operating frequency of 400 Hz may also be specified for special requirements.

The GPL power supplies offer high reliability with a typical mean time between failure of >100,000 hrs, and will operate over the temperature range of –25 °C to +70 °C. Mounting options include direct connection to PCB or chassis mount with screw connectors. Sub-miniature versions are also available where board space is at a premium.
