Carli Electronics Debuts the PSA Series of Inductive Capacitors

New Products Jul 08, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Carli Electronics Co. Ltd. (Taiwan) announced the PSA Series of inductive capacitors. Constructed with epoxy resin coating, film dielectric, aluminum-foil electrode and tinned-copper leads, the new capacitors are claimed to exhibit a low dissipation factor, low ESR and high insulation resistance. They are suitable for use in commercial, industrial and measurement applications.

Carli Electronics' capacitors meet the IEC384-7 standard and are specified for use from -40 to 85 degrees C. Capacitance ranges from 50pF to 10nF, with tolerance of +/-1, +/-2, +/-3, +/-5 and +/-10 percent. They are rated at 50Vdc, 125Vdc and 500Vdc. The dissipation factor is 0.10 percent, and the insulation resistance is 100 gigaohms.
