Campbell Collins Expands DIN Rail Power Supply Range
Campbell Collins Ltd., a specialist supplier of power supplies, capacitors and power semiconductors, announced a new addition to its range of DIN rail mounted Power Supplies from MTM Power of Germany.
Manufactured using Thermoselective Vacuum Encapsulation production techniques, the HSD15 and HSD30 series of dc-dc converters are well suited for use in challenging environments where dust, humidity and mechanical shock and vibration are likely to be encountered. Operating from a 20-72Vdc input, the units deliver 15 and 30W respectively at 12, 24 or 48V, and have an input to output isolation level of 3.3kVac.
The extremely high power density HSD15 (15W) is housed in a package measuring just 29 x 115 x 76mm, and the 30W HSD30 is just marginally wider at 42mm. The CE marked power supplies meet EN60950 safety standards, and offer an EMI/RFI performance that exceeds the requirements of EN55011 Class B. Both devices offer continuous short circuit protection and have an operating temperature range of -25 to +70°C.
