Call for Papers for EMV 2020 Offers Opportunity to Exchange Expert Knowledge

EMV specialists from science and industry can submit topics for conference lectures and workshops for the EMV 2020.

"Every two years, the EMV conference offers an excellent platform to present work and findings to a technical and scientific audience. Contributions are very welcome, especially if trend topics such as autonomous driving, electromobility, wireless technology or digitization are included," explains the Chairman of the EMV 2020 committee Professor Dr.-Ing. Heyno Garbe from the Leibniz University Hannover.

For the event, which will take place for the first time in Cologne from 17 – 19 March 2020, the committee has defined the following topics:

C)    System EMC
D)    Interference suppression measures
E)    Measurement and test engineering
F)    Standardization and regulation
G)    Protection of critical infrastructure
H)    EMC in industrial applications
I)    Traffic engineering
J)    Information and communication technology
K)    Energy technology
L)    EMC-compliant circuit design
M)    Lightning protection, overvoltage technology
N)    Biomedical engineering
O)    Electromagnetic tolerance in the environment (EMTE)
P)    Electric mobility

 

Submission Conditions

The EMV conference and workshops enable knowledge transfer at the highest level. As part of the comprehensive further education program, speakers will be able to share their specialist knowledge with the highly qualified audience. Depending on the scope, thematic structure and target group, it is advisable to submit an abstract for a 20-minute contribution for the German-language conference or to apply for a three-hour workshop in German or English.

The 29-member committee, consisting of representatives from industry and science, will review the submitted abstracts. The deadline for online submission of proposals is 14 August 2019.

 

Awards for Outstanding Contributions

In 2020, the best contributions at the conference will again be honored with the Best Paper Award and the Young Engineer Award.
