Ault Inc. (Minneapolis, MN) introduced its PW122, a 120W, universal switch-mode external power supply. The PW122 is designed to overcome excessive heat commonly found in high-power external products while meeting OEM needs for space savings.
The PW122 is totally enclosed in an impact-resistant polycarbonate case that features a finned design with convection cooling to eliminate fans. The design facilitates heat transfer through the casing, reduces product size and increases power efficiency.
The new PW122 features power efficiencies as high as 88 percent, regulated output with low ripples for greater efficiency and an input of 100Vac to 250Vac. The unit complies with UL/C-Ulus1950, TUV EN60950 MITI, EN61000-3-2, EN61000-3-3, Australian approvals, CE ratings and EMI/RFI regulations. The unit measures 9.0in x 2.9in x 2.0in.
