American Zettler Intros AZ8222 Series Telecom Relays

American Zettler Inc. (Aliso Viejo, CA) introduced the new AZ8222 two-pole telecom relay with the industry-standard, 16-pin DIP footprint. The relay offers dc coils from 3Vdc to 48Vdc in three sensitivities from standard (320mW) to sensitive (200mW) to ultra-sensitive (150mW).

Bifurcated cross-bar contacts and a high switching capacity of 60W or 125VA makes the relay suitable for low-power consumption, cost-effective designs. The AZ8222 relay meets FCC Part 68 requirements for 1,000Vrms dielectric strength and 1,500V lightning surge, and is fully recognized by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. for the US and Canada.
