Absopulse Offers Three-phase, 3kVA Sine Wave Inverter For Industrial, Aviation & Utility Environments

February 11, 2009 by Jeff Shepard

Absopulse Electronics announced its CTP 3K Series industrial quality inverter system, which delivers 3kVA, 3-Phase sine wave output power. Standard CTP 3K systems provide 208, 380 or 415Vrms continuous symmetrical 3-phase output at 50, 60 or 400Hz from inputs of 24, 36, 48, 25 or 250Vdc. Other input and output options are available on request.

The CTP 3K Series is comprised of four fan-cooled modules in a 6U, 19" rack-mount or chassis-mount assembly. Three of the modules perform the dc-dc voltage conversions, the fourth module the dc voltage to 3-phase ac voltage conversion. The modular nature of this design facilitates on-site maintenance.

This rugged inverter features high efficiency, tight output regulation and less than 5% total harmonic distortion at full load. It has full electronic protection including current limiting, short circuit protection, surge protection and thermal shut-down with automatic recovery. These make the system suitable for critical applications.

The CTP 3K meets international safety approvals C22.2 No.107.1-01, UL458 and EN60950 and is filtered to meet EN55022 Class A as a minimum. Options include remote shut-down, output fail alarm (Form C), as well as full ruggedizing and conformal coating for operation in extreme environments.
