Mean Well has unveiled the new 400W ERPF-400 series ac-dc power supplies with built-in active power factor correction. This upgrade version expanded the input range to 90- to 264-Vac, the interior remains semi-potted that is rain-proof and against dust, the working efficiency is up to 91% under fanless operation, having complete protection functions this product is suitable for LED strip lighting, LED channel lighting, LED moving sign panel and other LED commercial lighting applications.
These power supplies are offered with three standard output voltages, 12-Vdc (10.8- to 13.2-Vdc), 24-Vdc (21.6- to 26.4-Vdc) and 48-Vdc (43.2- to 52.8-Vdc). An optional dc input range of 127- to 370-Vdc is available. There is an LED indicator light for power on. Power factor is at least 0.95 at 230Vac and at least 0.98 at 115Vac. These constant-voltage power supplies can withstand a 300Vac surge input for 5 seconds.
These half-potted units have an operating temperature range of -30 to +60 degrees C (rated for 100% power up to 35 degrees C and derating linearly to 50% at 60 degrees C). They include short-circuit, overload, over-voltage and over-temperature protection and comply with CCC/CB/CE requirements. Dimensions (L x W x H) are 220.4 x 130 x 48 mm. The 400W ERPF-400 series comes with a 3-year warranty.
