Valence Receives Order for Satellite Phone Batteries

Valence Technology (Henderson, NV) announced that it received an additional order, valued at approximately $730,000, for their Model 25A batteries for use in hand-held satellite telephones. Valence's Model 25A batteries are lithium-ion polymer batteries, which provide up to 1,650mAh capacity in a footprint of 25mm x 110mm x 8.2mm.

Michael Mahan, Valence's senior vice president of marketing and licensing, commented, "Valence continues to expand the application of our polymer technology into new markets and applications."
