Texas Instruments Offers SMPS Developer's Kit

Texas Instruments Inc. (Dallas, TX) introduced the industry's first digital switch-mode power supply (SMPS) developer's kit, the TMDS3P701235, which allows designers to add enhanced intelligence, functionality and flexibility to their power supplies through software. The TMDS3P701235 kit offers fault management, digital current sharing, active in-rush control and many other features all in an intuitive, easy-to-use, programmable software environment.

The kit includes a complete 750W rectifier with 48V output, TI's Code Composer Studio™ integrated development environment, two DSP plug-in controller cards, a user's guide and and EZ startup guide.
