Sirenza Microdevices Inc. (Sunnyvale, CA) announced that it has been awarded US patent number 6,404,281, entitled "Wide Dynamic Range Transimpedance Amplifier." The new patent discloses a unique approach to improving the dynamic range of transimpedance amplifiers. It is one of a number of pending patents filed by Sirenza to protect its fiber-optic, component design solutions.
"This is Sirenza's second significant patent award for the company's fiber-optic amplifier intellectual property this quarter," said Sirenza President and CEO Bob Van Buskirk.
