Navitas Presents GaN Products and Technology at PCIM Europe 2019
Navitas Semiconductor reported that it will present the company's latest GaNFast power IC advances and leading-edge end-customer examples at PCIM Europe 2019. According to Navitas, the company's first GaNFast power ICs enable power systems to achieve the highest efficiency operation and MHz-frequency simultaneously.
These advances result in smaller, faster, lighter and lower cost power conversion.
"Navitas is the proven leader in GaN technology and has enabled customers to deliver the highest-performance, fastest-charging, mass-production smartphone and laptop power solutions in the market", said Stephen Oliver, VP Marketing & Sales. "Upon this strong foundation, GaNFast ICs are now building a new class of kW+ power systems for cloud computing, new energy, and a broad range of eMobility solutions from ebike and drone chargers, to full-size EV on-board chargers (OBC), which increase power densities and battery-charging rates by 3x, improve energy savings by 50% or more, to extend driving range and lower system costs".
