NanoSignal Corp. (Las Vegas, NV) announced that it has entered into an agreement with Energy Ventures Organization for Ballard Power Systems Inc. AirGen™ fuel cell generator units, through the Fuel Cell Store (Boulder, CO). The terms of the agreement were finalized December 19, 2003, with beta testing of SLICES™ beginning January 2004.
The agreement will provide initial AirGen fuel cell generator units. The AirGen fuel cell generators will be included in the initial beta testing at four MRI sites in Las Vegas. The initial units will be evaluated by NanoSignal's research and development division for 45 days. Upon the determination that the unit meets the requirements, it will be packaged with NanoSignal's MRI SLICES™ products. NanoSignal will include the Ballard AirGen fuel cell generators at no extra cost with each SLICES unit. Upon the determination that the unit meets the requirements, NanoSignal will purchase additional AirGen fuel cell generator units.
