Empower Energies, Inc. announced that Bill Morrow has joined the organization as Vice President, Business Development. Morrow brings a unique combination of business development and operations experience, joining a management team with established high-growth qualifications. Morrow leads the company's Commercial and Industrial (C&I) business development activities, where he is responsible for all business and project development activities for the organization's integrated renewable energy offer.
Further, he plays a significant role in identifying, diligencing, and consummating strategic mergers and acquisitions. He will also take a lead role in the deployment of Empower’s DG Growth Engine, providing a full, differentiated suite of capital and other services for the developers and EPC firms with which Empower partners to bring projects online.

Morrow has already made a significant impact in the renewable energy marketplace. Most recently he served as Director, Business Development at Enerparc AG, where he was a member of the US senior leadership team, and helped build a project pipeline from less than 10MW to over 500MW in less than two years. Previously he served as Vice President & General Manager, North America for Lanco Solar, where he was responsible for all operational aspects in the US, Ontario, and UK solar PV markets, developing a 250MW pipeline in less than 24 months. Prior to that experience, Morrow served as Managing Director, Utility Projects for SunEdison, where he lead the project development and operations team responsible for the origination, development, and construction of over 350MW of utility-scale PV projects in seven states and Canada.
Morrow earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgetown University as well as a Bachelors degree in Architecture from the Catholic University of America. Earlier in his career, Morrow served as Head of Sustainability Programs for Federal Realty Investment Trust; Prior to that his career focused on construction, with increasingly higher-level project management roles for Clark Construction, The Donohoe Companies and Kajima Engineering & Construction.
