K and M Electronics Inc. recently announced that it has changed its company legal name to ITT Power Solutions Inc. and will do business as "ITT, Power Solutions." The goal of the name change is to leverage the strength of its parent company, ITT Industries, and align with the newly established corporate brand identity, the company said.
The name change is part of a corporatewide single brand initiative, said James P. Faughnan, president and general manager. Additionally, in May, ITT Industries will be renamed simply "ITT." Along with the name change, the company has adopted a new corporate identity, including a new logo and visual identity.
ITT, Power Solutions will continue to be a leading supplier of custom high- and low-voltage power supplies for military and commercial markets and other high reliability electronic components to its established original equipment manufacturers, and corporate and end-user customer bases, Faughnan said.
