Hydrogenics Receives NRCan Funding for HyPM-LP2

Hydrogenics Corp. (Toronto, Canada), a designer and manufacturer of fuel cell technology, announced that Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is providing $500,000 to fund reliability testing and further development of the HyPM-LP2 fuel cell power modules over the next two years. The government support is a key driver in advancing Hydrogenics' power module technology toward commercialization.
Hydrogenics President and CEO Pierre Rivard stated, "Thanks to NRCan's support, we continue to develop this clean power technology and at the same time maintain Canadian leadership in the emerging hydrogen fuel cell sector."
