Emerson Network Power Announces Expanded Innovation Partnership Program

March 27, 2011 by Jeff Shepard

Emerson Network Power introduced the expanded Emerson Network Power Innovation Partnership Program. It combines solutions from Emerson’s Avocent and Liebert brands in the U.S. into an integrated program that enables Information Technology (IT) resellers to address the key customer challenges in the data center while maximizing their revenue and opportunity potential.

The Emerson Network Power Innovation Partnership Program is the first program designed to bridge the gap between IT and facilities that has prevented data center optimization. The program delivers data center infrastructure management technologies that empower partners to help their customers achieve higher levels of data center utilization, availability and efficiency.

Structured to provide real value to partners and their customers, the program features an optimized deal registration system and pricing structure to deliver the greatest rewards to partners driving solution value to data center, facilities, and IT executives. Additional benefits include wider product eligibility, more demand generation options and a new online portal. The Emerson Network Power partner portal provides partners with fast, anytime access to extensive program and training information and a full suite of configuration tools. Partners are also supported by a local network of data center specialists.

"We wanted to analyze what our partners need to be successful in the current environment and structure a program around those requirements," said Tracy Collins, Director of Channel Sales and Marketing of the Avocent and Liebert businesses of Emerson Network Power in North America. "The Emerson Network Power Innovation Partnership Program combines the best attributes of the existing programs, including category-leading margins and deal registration, while positioning our partners to deliver technologies for data center best practices and capitalize on the emerging market for DCIM solutions."

Understanding that partners buy solutions from many different sources for different reasons, the Emerson Network Power Innovation Partnership Program has aligned its strategy and benefits to match the business goals of a variety of channels, including channel-friendly product groupings, appropriate discount structures and loyalty rewards.
