Elgar Electronics Corp. (San Diego, CA) announced that it has consolidated its Power Ten operations from Los Gatos, CA, to Elgar’s recently expanded main facilities in San Diego. Power Ten is a wholly owned subsidiary of Elgar Electronics, which Elgar acquired in March of 1998. Power Ten is a manufacturer of high-power programmable dc power supplies.
"Consolidating the Elgar and Power Ten operations into one facility offers tremendous advantages for both our company and our customers," commented Elgar President and CEO Kenneth Kilpatrick. "With all operations located at a single facility, we will be able to maintain close control over production scheduling and product quality."
