APT Appoints Robert Pearson As Director

Advanced Power Technology Inc. (APT, Bend, OR) announced that the APT board of directors has appointed Robert C. Pearson as a Director. Mr. Pearson has over 30 years of financial experience in the semiconductor and high-technology industry and is a senior vice president with Renaissance Capital Group (Greenwich, CT).Previous to his post at Renaissance Capital, Mr. Pearson worked with Texas Instruments (Dallas, TX). He earned his BS from the University of Maryland and holds an MBA from the University of Michigan.Patrick Sireta, APT's chairman and CEO, stated, "We are very pleased to welcome Bob to our board.
