ABAT Files Nano-Lithium-Ion Battery Patent Application

Advanced Battery Technologies Inc. (ABAT, China), a developer of rechargeable polymer-lithium-ion (PLI) batteries, has filed a patent application for its nano-lithium-ion (NLI) battery. The company has been developing a new PLI battery using lithium-titanate spinel-electrode nanomaterials provided by Altair Nanotechnologies Inc., and it has developed a method for incorporating the nanomaterials into a PLI battery that is included in its patent application.
