25 CEOs, VPs and Directors to Speak at the 2006 Digital Power Forum

The 2006 Digital Power Forum (DPF '06) will include the largest number of senior executives ever to speak at a single power electronics conference. Among the 40 technical papers, 25 Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), Vice Presidents (VPs) and Directors will present their views on the current progress, challenges, and opportunities for using the latest techniques for digital power management and digital power conversion. DPF '06 will feature CEOs, VPs and Directors from AMD, ANCIS, Astec/Emerson, Coldwatt, Commergy, Delta Products, Liebert, Enpirion, Fairchild Semiconductor, Fujitsu Computing Products, Intel, International Rectifier, Maxim, Pentadyne, Power-One, Primarion, Sun Microsystems, Texas Instruments, Transistor Devices, Zilker Labs, and more.

This year's DPF will also feature a Roundtable Discussion titled: "When Will the Switchover to Digital Power Take Place?" Panelists will include: Dan Artusi, Chairman & CEO, Coldwatt; Steve Bakota, Manager of Digital Power, Texas Instruments; Laurence McGarry, Marketing Manager, Analog Devices; Deepak Savadatti, VP, Primarion; Jim Templeton, Founder & VP, Zilker Labs; and Milan Jovanovic, VP Delta Products. Ramesh Misra, Sr. Analyst with C.E. Unterberg, Towbin will chair the Roundtable.

The 2006 Digital Power Forum (DPF '06) will feature a significantly expanded technical content, including an entire afternoon devoted to system-level issues when implementing digital power management solutions. And DPF '06 is adding an entirely new second track of papers focused on digital energy management and power management in enterprise-critical installations and related digital equipment. The afternoon sessions related to system-level implementation of digital power management are being organized in cooperation with the PMBus™ Organization. The new track on digital energy management at the facilities level is being organized in cooperation with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ENERGY STAR Program.
