Torex Releases Ultra Small, High Precision Voltage Detector

May 18, 2011 by Jeff Shepard

Torex Semiconductor Ltd. has developed an ultra small (0.75 x 0.95 x h0.4mm), high-precision voltage detector. The XC6126 Series of high-precision voltage detectors are housed in the ultra-small USPN-4B02 package (0.75 x 0.95 x h0.4mm) and have a low quiescent current of 0.6µA (at detection VDF=1.8V, VIN=1.62V) (TYP.). The small package size makes a major contribution to space-saving circuit design.

The operating voltage range is 0.7 to 6.0V. The detection voltage range is 1.5 to 5.5V, and the detection voltage can be set in steps of 0.1V within this range. N-ch open drain or CMOS output can be selected for the output format. The devices are well suited for reset of microcomputers and logic circuits, battery check, charge detection, and system power-on reset.

The ultra small USPN-4B02 and SSOT-24 packages are available for selection as appropriate for the application. This is also an environment-friendly product that complies with the RoHS Directive of the EU and is Pb-free.
