Power-One Announces New Open-Frame Products for Industrial and Medical Applications
Power-One, Inc. announced the expansion of ABC and MBC families of open-frame products, adding ten new models to the portfolio. The ABC family of industrial open-frame power supplies is now available from 40W to 400W and offers high convection ratings and industry-leading power density. With single and multiple output voltages ranging from 5 to 48Vdc, the ABC products cover a wide variety of applications targeted for process control, factory automation, test and measurement, and other Industrial markets.
The MBC family of medical open-frame power supplies is now available from 40W to 300W and offers 3rd edition medical approvals and 2xMOPP isolation. The broad offering includes class 1 and class 2 models and are ideal for drug pumps, ultrasound equipment, monitoring equipment, home health-care equipment, and many more medical applications.
The expansion of the ABC and MBC families of products represents a significant refresh to the existing open-frame offering. The new portfolio puts Power-One in a leading position to meet power conversion needs in low to medium power Industrial and Medical applications.
