NewTurn Energy Co. Ltd. (South Korea) announced that it is offering a new rechargeable solid polymer battery that measures 63mm x 95mm x 4mm and weighs 46g, making it suitable for use in PDAs. The battery operates at 3.7V and has a rated capacity of 2Ah. It exhibits no memory effect and can withstand >300 charging cycles. The device features copper and aluminum terminals and is screened for operation over the -10°C to +60°C temperature range.
