Moden Energy Releases BSC-4A16 NiMH/NiCd Battery Charger

Guangzhou Moden Energy Battery Co. Ltd. (China) released its BSC-4A16, a nickel-metal hydride (NiMH)/nickel-cadmium (NiCd) battery charger that fully charges AA and AAA batteries in 15 minutes. The unit has four individual channels for AA and AAA NiMH and NiCD batteries. Features include automatic cut-off when fully charged, a car-charging function, a smart fan cooling system, and an auto-switch function between AA and AAA battery sizes.
The unit's specifications include an input voltage of 12 Vdc (5 A), 100 Vac to 240 Vac (50 Hz/60 Hz); and a charging output of four by 6,000 mA for AA batteries and four by 3,000 mA for AAA batteries. It operates between -10 °C and +55 °C, measures 125 mm x 80 mm x 38 mm, and weighs 140 g.
